Well, I guess I'll start this by introducing myself to all you beatiful gorgeous bloggers out there...my name is Laura Vandagriff Biggins and I am the creator behind By Invitation Only, a platinum stationary design firm. I specialize in custom design of wedding and event stationary suites. I am a little girl from Iowa who started my professional career as a fashion designer at JLO by Jennifer Lopez in NYC years ago. After meeting my husband for the 2nd time around (long story) and doing the long distance thing for far too long, we ended up in Dallas where I began working as the Women's Apparel Designer at Fossil (yes, they have clothes). Currently I'm transitioning from the fashion industry to pursue my passion, which is graphic/stationary design and event planning. How did I get the stationary/planning bug, you ask? Well, I had a fabulous Wedding Consultant, Rebecca Hackl of Rebecca Hackl Events, who just happened to be in the market for a graphic designer. Enter me, who needed some extra cash to pay for peacock feather hair pins, fur stoles, bridesmaids dresses, etc., you can do the math! After discovering a deep love for designing stationary and working with brides I started By Invitation Only this past summer. My mission is to give brides what they didn't know they wanted. To take their inspiration to the next level, delivering something far beyond their expectations. I pride myself in being creative in all different facets. I love to create high fashion stationary suites that are fresh, captivating and en vogue! During my time with Rebecca Hackl, I also realized a passion for helping people by way of event planning. So....wish me luck as I proudly join the staff at Rebecca Hackl Events as Director of Graphic Design and Event Planner!!
